Revenue Cycle Specialist Interventional Pain Management 1 Opening | Full-Time |
Grand Island, NE Pay:
$19.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience Our interventional pain management clinic is hiring a Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our billing office. This is a well-rounded role covering the full revenue cycle: claims and payment posting, insurance follow-up, collections, insurance eligibility and benefits verification, and prior authorization support. You'll work closely with our existing billing team and play a key role in keeping our revenue cycle running smoothly. This is a fully in-person job, collaborative job and requires the applicant to be able to reliably commute to the Grand Island office. What You'll Do Submit and follow up on insurance claims for clinic services and procedures Post payments and reconcile accounts Follow up with insurance companies on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims Work patient accounts through the collections process Verify insurance eligibility and benefits ahead of patient visits and procedures Submit and track prior authorizations for imaging and in-clinic procedures Communicate with patients regarding balances, benefits, and billing questions Coordinate with front desk and clinical staff to keep billing information accurate and current What We're Looking For Experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or collections preferred Familiarity with prior authorization processes a plus Comfortable working with payer portals, EHR/practice management systems, and phone-based insurance follow-up Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple accounts at once Professional, calm communication style, including with patients on sensitive billing conversations Medical billing/coding certification a plus, but not required Schedule Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. No weekends.
