$20/hr - $27/hr We're seeking a detail-oriented billing professional to join a busy, fast-paced specialty medical practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong insurance billing knowledge who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely reimbursement while supporting exceptional patient care. What You'll Do Investigate and resolve insurance claim denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances. Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to identify payment issues and determine appropriate next steps. Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve billing concerns and expedite claim processing. Maintain accurate billing documentation while ensuring compliance with payer guidelines. Work collaboratively with internal departments to improve claim accuracy and reimbursement. Prioritize multiple accounts while meeting productivity and collection goals. Qualifications Minimum of two years of medical billing and insurance collections experience. Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance processes, and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs). Experience working with accounts receivable and claim follow-up. Orthopedic or specialty practice experience is preferred. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent required.
