• Full-time About us Solar Smart Living and Peak Comfort HVAC is a veteran-owned company serving El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM since 2007. We design, install, and service residential solar, battery storage, and HVAC systems. The role The Customer Service & Billing Specialist helps keep work moving. You'll answer customer calls, schedule service, close out finished jobs, invoice and collect payment, and follow up with customers who need a maintenance visit or help getting a solar system back online. You'll work in our field service software and Google Workspace and coordinate with operations and accounting. This is an on-site office role in Santa Teresa, NM. Bilingual English/Spanish is required. What you'll do Answer inbound calls Look up or create customer records and schedule service appointments Record payments and follow up on unpaid balances Close completed work orders and generate invoices from technician notes Send contracts, documents, and SolarEdge / Enphase reconnect instructions Answer routine billing questions and loop in a supervisor when something is unusual Make outbound calls on overdue invoices, HVAC maintenance agreements, and offline solar systems Take clear notes on install or project questions and pass them to the right person Help with other office work as needs change Who this is a good fit for You're comfortable on the phone in English and Spanish, accurate with details, and fine wearing more than one hat. You can follow the process we give you, use good judgment when something isn't written down, and ask instead of guessing. Required qualifications Bilingual English / Spanish High school diploma or GED 2+ years of customer service, billing, collections, or office support Comfortable on the phone for inbound calls and outbound follow-up Comfortable working in field service software and Google Workspace Able to work on-site in Santa Teresa, NM Preferred qualifications HVAC, solar, or home-services office experience Experience with invoicing, collections, or maintenance agreements Pay and benefits $16-$24 per hour, based on experience 401(k) available after one year of employment Full-time, on-site office role Solar Smart Living and Peak Comfort HVAC is an equal opportunity employer.
