We are looking for a temporary Accounts Receivable Analyst in the Akron area to play an important role in keeping financial operations running smoothly. In this position, you'll take ownership of key accounts receivable activities, from cash application and account reconciliation to collections and invoice resolution. What You'll Do As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will be responsible for Accurately post incoming customer payments while researching and resolving unidentified or unapplied cash. Monitor past-due receivables and collaborate with customers and internal teams to clear aging balances. Implement effective follow-up and collection efforts to improve payment timeliness. Address accounts receivable questions and service issues with accuracy and efficiency. Investigate billing discrepancies and process invoices, debit/credit memos, and account adjustments as needed. Oversee daily automated billing activity, ensuring invoice batches and EDI transmissions are completed accurately and on schedule. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or related finance functions. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience working with ERP platforms; SAP experience preferred, with S/4HANA considered a plus. Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and effectively influence outcomes. Background in billing, collections, cash application, and deductions/allowances within a manufacturing environment preferred. Why Join Us in Akron?
