$30.00 - $40.00 per hour Full-Time, Permanent Job ID #26-00637 About This Opportunity Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer on behalf of a leading manufacturing client in the Akron, Ohio area. In this role, you will be responsible for creating complex toolpaths for CNC mills and lathes using MasterCAM, optimizing production processes, and ensuring precise quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities CNC Programming:
Create, test, and refine multi-axis CNC programs for mills and lathes using MasterCAM and G & M code.
Process Optimization:
Develop efficient machining strategies to cut cycle times, lower tooling costs, and enhance overall part quality.
Tooling & Fixture Selection:
Specify cost-effective cutting tools, custom fixtures, and raw materials tailored to specific job requirements.
Shop-Floor Troubleshooting:
Rapidly diagnose and resolve issues with machine setups, tool wear/breakage, and program errors.
Technical Documentation:
Produce detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guide shop machinists.
Quality Assurance Support:
Introduce and implement advanced measuring technologies with Quality Control; maintain compliance with established ISO procedures.
Continuous Improvement:
Master new measurement instruments and software applications to support continuous shop floor advancement.
Requirements Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
Programming Skills:
3+ years of hands-on CNC programming and machining experience (extrusion/manufacturing background preferred).
Software Proficiency:
Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and CAM software (MasterCAM).
Technical Skills:
Expert knowledge of G & M code and strong ability to interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
Quality Focus:
High attention to detail, familiar with ISO quality management standards, and proficient with precision measuring instruments.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, highly organized, and self-directed.
