Position:
Revenue Cycle Specialist Job Summary:
The Revenue Cycle Specialist supports revenue cycle processes within our organization by working the assigned claims, recognizing patterns, escalating issues, and accelerating claim payment.Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to: Review and resolve insurance denials to obtain final adjudication. Analyze accounts receivable reports to follow up on unpaid claims. Submit required documentation to insurance payers as requested. Follow up with insurance payors on incorrectly paid claims. Correct demographic and payor information and submit it to payors. Work with Front Desk Teams to support Patient Collections. Collect Patient Payments. Process Hardship, Scholarship, and Payment Plans. Manage reports on recognized payor patterns/projects. Escalate emergent and systemic issues to supervisor. Ability to work in fast paced environment. Additional responsibilities as assigned.Required Experience/Certifications:
Associates Degree in Health Care Management or related field or equivalent experience. 3 years of relevant experience with claims processing and Electronic Medical Records Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and insurance Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screenSchedule:
