A local growing trucking company seeking a full-time billing/settlement specialist looking for a detail-orientated, analytical professional with strong customer service skills and experience in the transportation industry.

Qualifications include:

Previous experience in trucking, logistics, or transportation is highly preferred, with a focus on freight billing, settlements and driver payroll. Exceptional accuracy, high attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). High School diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree or relevant experience in accounting or finance preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate accurate customer invoices, review rate tables and process weekly driver/carrier settlements. Audit freight bills for accuracy, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and internal policies. Investigate and resolve data entry discrepancies with back-up provided and resolve with our Agency Manager teams.
