Job Summary We are currently looking for an exceptional candidate to fill our Medical Dental Billing Specialist and/or AR Specialist position. Duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining current insurance practices, requirements, and forms; verifying proper reimbursement is received for services provided; processing and following up insurance claims; and documenting and coding information, interpreting medical records. Primary duties of a Medical Dental Billing Specialist include: reviewing patient accounts and determining appropriate billing distributions; processing statement batches and entering information into database; and following up on past due accounts and unpaid insurance claims. We have 6 locations and each location focuses on delivering impeccable service to exceed the expectations of our patients. We offer an excellent and competitive compensation package. Dental/medical billing knowledge/experience is a plus. Compensation will be paid based on your level of experience.

Requirements:

At least 12 months previous experience with all aspects of revenue cycle management. Knowledge of appeals and claims denials for both medical and dental insurance policies. Understanding the lingo on explanation of benefits and having payment posting experience. Experience in dealing with insurance companies and being able to work around their stall tactics and getting claims paid. Customer service skills in talking with patients about their accounts.
