9685332-19446 Job Description Step into a valued, hands-on role supporting students with moderate to high behavioral needs as an experienced paraprofessional. This contract opportunity offers flexible assignments across the Quakertown, Levittown, and Perkasie areas. The position is designed to provide dedicated support within a paraprofessional pool, ready to be deployed as needs arise throughout the school year. Your expertise will be crucial in environments where consistency and specialized care make a lasting difference in K-12 students lives. Be prepared to start as soon as possible following completion of state-required clearances and a mandatory orientation. Schedules are MondayFriday, supporting 37.5 hours a week, and youll need to be available within standard school day hours.

What were seeking:

Minimum 1+ year of paraprofessional experience in a special education classroom, specifically working with students with severe autism and behavioral challenges (must be detailed on resume) Confidence working 1:1 and within structured behavioral environments Proven ability to implement safety and behavioral interventions with students exhibiting aggressive, self-injurious, or intensive safety needs Comfort with all aspects of hands-on support, including personal care, toileting, lifting, and feeding Ability to work full-time, travel between locations, and reside within a 35-minute commute Willingness to complete a mandatory orientation week before assignment Meet at least one Pennsylvania state paraprofessional qualification, or willingness to obtain required certification within 60 days of starting Responsibilities include: Assisting students throughout the school day, promoting independence while maintaining safety Implementing behavioral strategies in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Providing academic and behavioral support as directed by classroom teachers Remaining responsive, adaptable, and proactive in high-needs situations This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact each day.
