Responsibilities Prepare, review, and process invoices using various financial software such as Workday, Paychex, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and others to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies Manage accounts receivable activities by tracking payments, reconciling accounts, and following up on overdue invoices to optimize cash flow Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting tasks to maintain precise financial records Handle confidential information with integrity while conducting account analysis, credit analysis, and journal entries Assist with accounts payable processing, expense coding, and vendor communications to streamline financial operations Support month-end closing procedures including account reconciliation, double entry bookkeeping, and ledger reviews Utilize Excel data analysis skills for reporting, trend analysis, and improving billing workflows Experience Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong background in billing or bookkeeping Familiarity with financial software such as Workday, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, Ceridian, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms Knowledge of SOX compliance standards and governmental accounting practices is preferred Demonstrated ability in data entry accuracy and managing large volumes of transactions efficiently Strong understanding of accounting principles including GAAP, general ledger reconciliation, debits & credits, and journal entries Excellent numeracy skills combined with a keen eye for detail and analytical thinking Prior experience in public accounting or corporate accounting environments is highly advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in financial management!
