We are seeking someone with energy and enthusiasm to join our team of Billing Specialists, someone committed to quality, accuracy and adherence to HIPAA and patient data privacy laws. This position is required to be an in-office position through the probationary period with opportunity for remote work once probationary period is met.

JOB SUMMARY

Our Billing Specialists provide exceptional service to our clients and insurance vendors.

They are responsible for:

Obtaining knowledge of Solutions' programs and their respective CPT coding and billing requirements Learning Solutions' Electronic Health Record with proficiency in all areas related to the revenue cycle Daily data entry and reconciling of incoming payments for assigned insurances Daily management of denied claims through research, corrections and resubmissions of claims as applicable Timely and accurately reviewing of primary and secondary claims prior to submission Processing of all reviewed claims to the respective clearinghouses Verification of insurance coverage as needed to resolve claim processing Reviewing claim processing reports and acting to resolve rejected claims Reviewing assigned insurances to ensure claims are promptly paid within 30 days of submission

A qualified individual would have:

Knowledge of current outpatient and community mental health CPT coding system Knowledge of Minnesota Medicaid/MN-ITS/ND Medicaid eligibility and claims processing Previous experience with Medicare and Commercial Insurance Previous experience with Availity insurance eligibility and claims submission Previous experience with the revenue cycle billing Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications Strong organization, written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail to ensure absolute accuracy in data entry A high level of interpersonal, problem solving and analytic skills The ability to function both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment A minimum of 2 years' experience in mental health/medical billing experience Applications for this position will be accepted thru Sunday, August 2nd, 2026. #HP
