Client-Facing Medical Billing Specialist Healthcare Revenue Cycle | Customer Service Focus | Hybrid Job Overview We're hiring a client-facing Medical Billing Specialist who combines strong billing knowledge with excellent customer service and a professional on-screen presence. This is not a behind-the-scenes role. You'll work directly with healthcare providers, participate in video calls, and help resolve billing issues clearly and confidently. Responsibilities Serve as a primary billing contact for assigned clients Communicate with providers via email, phone, and video calls (camera on) Audit billing and accounts receivable (AR) work for accuracy and compliance Review and confirm insurance verification of benefits (VOB) before services Research and resolve claim denials, underpayments, and discrepancies Submit clean claims using ICD-10 and CPT codes Track claims through full resolution and payment Identify AR trends, risks, and escalation opportunities Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA guidelines Stay current on payer rules, coding updates, and billing requirements

Qualifications Required:

2+ years of medical billing and AR experience Experience with insurance verification and follow-up Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable participating in on-camera client meetings Ability to explain billing issues clearly and professionally Strong organization and follow-through

Preferred:
