Sisselman Medical Group, a well-established two-location primary care practice on Long Island (Massapequa and Commack), is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. We treat our patients — and our staff — like family, and we're looking for someone who takes real pride in doing billing right. This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position based primarily in our Massapequa office, with flexibility for some remote days once trained on our systems and workflows. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day billing operations for a busy internal medicine and family medicine practice Submit claims through our clearinghouse and monitor for timely, accurate processing Reconcile ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice) back into our EMR Work denials, resubmissions, and payer follow-up Collaborate with our two other billers and front office/clinical staff to keep the revenue cycle running smoothly Learn and take ownership of established practice workflows, with full training provided What We're Looking For Seasoned primary care medical billing experience (multiple years, not entry-level) Strong, confident computer and EMR skills — comfortable learning and troubleshooting within a system Experience submitting claims through a clearinghouse and reconciling ERAs Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW) billing module strongly preferred Excellent attention to detail and follow-through Team player who communicates well with billing, clinical, and front desk staff What We Offer $30-$38/hour, based on experience Full-time, stable position in a well-established, growing practice Hybrid schedule after initial training period Supportive, collegial team environment — two experienced billers currently on staff who will remain Direct mentorship and thorough onboarding If you're a detail-oriented billing professional who wants to be part of a practice that genuinely values its team, we'd love to hear from you.
