Job Description

Legal Assistant/ Litigation Paralegal (Full Time, In Office) Spanish/English Required! NHG Law Group specializes in employment law and personal injury litigation, and we are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/ Litigation Paralegal but willing to train the right candidate, to join our growing legal team. This is a full time, in office position. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment, possesses exceptional organizational and time-management skills, and is able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Draft legal correspondence and client communications. Prepare, review, redact, and organize legal documents. File documents electronically in New York State and Federal Courts (NYSCEF & CM/ECF). Prepare pleadings, motions, exhibits, affidavits, and discovery documents. Bates stamp, redact, scan, and organize case files. Maintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlines. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and experts. Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation. Maintain accurate and well organized electronic and physical files.
Qualifications:
Litigation paralegal experience. Experience with New York State and Federal Court filings preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
