Job Summary The Research Billing Analyst manages the end-to-end research billing lifecycle and provides financial oversight of research-related activities. The role is responsible for ensuring research charges are accurately identified, documented, reconciled, and billed in accordance with approved study budgets, financial agreements, and organizational requirements. Responsibilities include research billing, accounts receivable management, revenue recovery, financial reporting, reconciliation, and monitoring of billing processes and controls. The analyst collaborates with research teams, affiliates, finance, and clinical departments to resolve billing discrepancies, analyze financial trends, support audits, and identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, revenue capture, and operational efficiency throughout the lifecycle of a research study.
Minimum Qualifications Degrees:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
License & Certifications:
Certified Research Administrator through Research Administrators Certification Council (may substitute for bachelor) (Preferred)
Work Experience:
Four (4) Years Work Experience Clinical research, clinical trial finance, and/or grant management
