Medical Billing & Payroll Specialist BrightStar Care Home Health Care is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Medical Billing & Payroll Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing the billing and payroll process, submitting client invoices, monitoring payments, and handling accounts receivable collections. Because our company operates on a weekly payment and payroll cycle , the ideal candidate must be comfortable monitoring billing, payroll, and incoming payments on a daily basis to ensure everything is accurate, complete, and processed on time. Key Responsibilities Handle medical billing and weekly payroll . Prepare and submit client invoices accurately and on time. Monitor daily payments and accounts receivable . Follow up on outstanding invoices and handle collections . Track and reconcile payments and outstanding balances. Review timesheets and billing records for accuracy. Identify and resolve billing or payroll discrepancies. Maintain accurate and confidential financial records. Qualifications Experience in medical billing, payroll, accounts receivable, or collections . Healthcare/home health experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and billing/payroll systems. Able to monitor accounts daily and follow up proactively. Reliable, responsible, and able to meet weekly deadlines The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the entire billing and payroll cycle . The right person will not simply process invoices or payroll when instructed—they will actively monitor accounts every day, identify what needs attention, follow up on unpaid invoices, and make sure payments and payroll are on track. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple financial responsibilities at the same time .
