Responsibilities Process and submit medical claims accurately using various billing software systems, including industry-standard platforms such as eClinicalWorks. Review patient accounts for billing discrepancies, resolve claim denials, and follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims to maximize revenue recovery. Maintain detailed records of billing transactions, insurance communications, and payment histories with meticulous attention to confidentiality and data security protocols. Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to clarify billing issues, verify coverage details, and facilitate prompt resolution of discrepancies. Experience Proven experience in coding and billing. Knowledge of healthcare-specific financial concepts including coding procedures (ICD-10/ CPT), insurance claim processing standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance representatives, and internal teams while handling confidential information discreetly.
