Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through medical collections processes, resolving discrepancies efficiently. Maintain detailed records of billing activities, claim submissions, and payment statuses within healthcare claims management systems. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation or coding issues that may delay reimbursement. Stay updated on changes in health insurance policies, Medicaid regulations, and coding guidelines to ensure ongoing compliance. Skills Strong knowledge of medical coding including

DRG, CPT

coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding standards. Proficiency in medical billing software, EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, and EHR (Electronic Health Record) platforms. Experience with healthcare claims management and medical collection processes. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
