Job Description

Our Collections Clerk delivers exceptional service while coordinating collection efforts with members. We are looking for a candidate that also possesses the following skills; a high school diploma or equivalent, math aptitude and keyboarding skills. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
6 months credit union, related financial, or customer service experienceConscientious, and performs accurate work with respect for regulations and standardsThe ability to work independently while displaying initiative and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to interface with members in a positive manner with empathy, courtesy and tactProfessional communication skills across various platforms (phone, video-chat text, email, etc.)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailDisplay a high level of professionalism Dependable; punctual and regular attendanceAbility to work well in a team environment and support the credit unions mission and values
JOB SUMMARY
Work early collections phone callsProcess collections on negative accounts and debit cardsProcess online loan paymentsBackup other essential functions in the department as needed

Scheduled for 40-hours per week between the hours of Monday through Friday 8:15AM to 5:15PM
