Job Description

We are looking for a billing specialist to assist in keeping our accounts receivables up to date. You will also be responsible for calling insurances to follow up on claims. Our billing specialist should have a keen eye for detail and should be comfortable working with little supervision. Your goal will be to monitor accounts receivables and keep it up to date. You will also be asked to assist with scheduling appointments, taking payments and helping with patient's billing questions. Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of dental experience and will be proficient with Dentrix. Responsibilities Work with patients on any insurance issues Evaluate and submit accurate insurance claims Address patient billing questions Keep track of accounts receivable Resolve any issues or mistakes with accounts Skills Good knowledge of insurance/electronic billing procedures Dentrix knowledge Excellent communication and phone skills Attention to detail Organizational skills Able to work well with a team Cheerful disposition Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
