Job Description

Audiology Professionals, LLC is looking for an enthusiastic Medical Coding Certified Professional Coder (CPC-P), or other motivated individual with experience in billing insurance, to join our team! We are offering part-time hours of up to 24 per week. There will be an hourly base pay, and commissions once you are trained. Starting pay is based upon experience. We have been in practice for 30 years. We have 3 Doctors of Audiology another Master's level audiologist. We have two part time billing specialists. We are looking to train someone now in all of the billing and front office skills. One of our part time employees will be retiring soon and we need someone to take her place. We practice in a beautiful office in South Ogden. We feel lucky to be in a practice where so many people with ear and hearing needs can be met in such a professional and empathetic manner. Responsibilities Billing insurance companies electronically Assume the responsibility of receiving and entering incoming payments Manage the status of accounts and balances Issue and post bills, receipts and invoices Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients Scheduling Patient Appointments Filing Patient Charts Assisting with minor hearing aid repairs or cleaning Skills Excellent customer service Proven experience as billing specialist Adherence to laws and best practices in regards to dealing with customers and data Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information Excellent knowledge of MS Office, experience with Lytec a plus Proficiency in English Results-driven and patient High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
