Job Description:
Monitor accounts receivable activity to identify overpayments, underpayments, and outstanding balances Apply customer payments and adjustment transactions accurately and within established deadlines Investigate and resolve unapplied cash, payment variances, and account discrepancies Review customer account information and supporting documentation to ensure payment accuracy Generate, process, and distribute customer invoices and billing documentation Research customer accounts, billing records, and payment activity to verify and resolve issues Coordinate with internal departments and external customers to address billing, payment, and account concerns Follow up on outstanding receivables and assist with collection activities as needed Process billing adjustments, credits, and collection-related transactions in accordance with established procedures Utilize external payment platforms, including WAWF and IPP, to locate incoming payments and facilitate timely cash application Maintain complete and accurate financial records, documentation, and audit trails Prepare and distribute reports covering cash receipts, billing activity, and accounts receivable Provide responsive and professional customer service to both internal stakeholders and external customers Collaborate across multiple departments to research and resolve complex billing and payment issues Ensure all cash receipts, payments, and related financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience within accounts receivable 2+ years of Deltek Costpoint experience Cash application and reconciliation of customer payments Strong in Excel Completed BS degree preferred Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
