In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and managing fingerprint data with precision and confidentiality. Your expertise in database management, data entry, and technical software tools will ensure the accuracy and integrity of biometric records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital security and identification processes within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong computer skills, and demonstrates excellent customer service abilities. Duties Collect fingerprint data using specialized biometric and fingerprinting equipment while ensuring proper technique and compliance with protocols Enter and update fingerprint records accurately into database systems, including ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, ensuring data integrity Manage and maintain digital files, spreadsheets, and records using productivity software such as Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel data analysis and pivot tables Verify the accuracy of data entry through meticulous review processes, including 10 key typing and transcription tasks Handle confidential information with discretion, adhering to privacy policies and security standards Support data collection efforts by organizing files, conducting basic math calculations for record verification, and performing office clerical tasks such as filing and order entry Provide excellent customer service by assisting internal teams or external agencies with fingerprinting inquiries or related support Qualifications Proven experience with database systems, spreadsheets, and office productivity software such as Microsoft Word and Excel Strong computer skills including proficiency in data entry, Excel data analysis, pivot tables, and basic math operations Familiarity with ERP systems or similar enterprise software is preferred Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent typing skills (minimum of 10 key typing speed) along with transcription experience is highly desirable Prior clerical or administrative experience involving filing, order entry, or data collection is advantageous Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information responsibly while maintaining high levels of accuracy Good communication skills coupled with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and customer service Join us as a Fingerprint Technician (Contract) to play a vital role in biometric data management while developing your technical expertise.
