DESCRIPTION

The Parkinson's Foundation is seeking a goal-oriented, self-motivated professional for the position of Donor Relations Coordinator. This position is a critical member of the Donor Relations team that plays a key role in supporting donor relations efforts and maintaining accurate donor records. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Donor Relations, this fulltime position is primarily responsible for managing matching gift inquiries, processing contributions, and ensuring proper data entry and attribution in Raiser's Edge and Luminate. The coordinator also assists with donor communications and supports the operations of the Donor Relations call center.
RESPONSIBILITES
Gift Processing & Matching Gift Oversight Process all matching gifts, employee giving, and third-party transactions (via check, ACH, Chariot) by accurately entering them into Raiser's Edge and Luminate. Manage and process incoming offline donations received at the New York office, including opening, sorting, and preparation for data entry. Maintain timely and precise gift designation and coding to ensure accurate reporting and donor intent alignment. Support lockbox and online gift processing operations when needed to ensure daily reconciliation and minimal delays in receipting. Respond to all inquiries received through the matching gifts email inbox in a professional and timely manner. Confirm gift submissions with employers and third-party platforms and ensure accurate and timely follow-up with donors. Record and track matching gift pledges in Raiser's Edge, coordinating with Development team members to monitor fulfillment. Identify and recommend process improvements for more efficient matching gift processing and donor acknowledgment workflows. Donor Stewardship & Acknowledgment Generate tax receipts for major gifts ($10K+), route to prospect managers for customization, and prepare for CEO's signature. Produce and send donor thank you cards for matching gift contributions of $100 or more, ensuring donor satisfaction and stewardship. Create and send weekly tribute notification cards, coordinating with fundraisers and donor services as needed. Manage thank-you and stewardship mailings related to high-value and tribute gifts, supporting donor retention and engagement. Data Integrity & Platform Management Maintain donor and gift records in Raiser's Edge, including biographical, gift, and relationship updates. Manage the Double the Donation platform, including updates, data hygiene, and handling opt-out requests. Support system imports from third-party processors, ensuring successful integration and resolving import issues as needed. Assist with reporting and analysis related to gift processing, matching gift metrics, and donor behavior. Support internal audits and reconciliation efforts to ensure data compliance and operational transparency. Internal Collaboration & Donor Support Field donor inquiries via phone and email as part of a cross-trained donor support team, providing timely and professional service. Collaborate with the Advancement team to ensure coordinated donor communications. Participate in internal meetings, including cross-functional team meetings, and maintain a professional on-camera presence. Other duties as assigned, including seasonal support for high-volume periods or special campaigns.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
At least two years of professional experience in a development or data management position. High School diploma or twoyear degree preferred. Proven track record of excellent data entry skills. Proficiency in computer software programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and aptitude for working with donor database systems. Must demonstrate creativity, reliability, responsibility, flexibility and self-motivation. Able to multi-task while also being highly detail oriented. Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, database, and spreadsheet management. Raiser's Edge/RENXT knowledge is a plus. COMPENSATION
Salary for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience. In addition, a comprehensive benefits package is included. The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000. The Parkinson's Foundation is an equal opportunity employer.
