Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00

PM Location:

Echo Park, Los Angeles, CA Work Setting:

Primarily onsite/community-based outreach, with flexibility to work at other locations as needed

Pay Rate:

Starting at $24.68/hour

Assignment Length:

Approximately 3 months Key Responsibilities Conduct outbound outreach to new and existing patients to schedule appointments and follow up on missed or overdue care. Educate patients about available healthcare services, preventative screenings, and care resources. Assist patients with navigating appointments and connecting them with insurance enrollment resources. Engage patients who have lost insurance coverage or are aging into Medicare and connect them with appropriate enrollment assistance. Identify barriers to care and help patients access appropriate community and healthcare resources. Accurately document outreach efforts, patient interactions, and appointment outcomes. Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and enrollment teams to support seamless patient care. Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish required Strong verbal and written communication skills Healthcare outreach, community engagement, sales/marketing, or public speaking experience preferred Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Covered California, Medicare, or other health insurance programs preferred Valid California driver's license, good driving record, and proof of auto insurance Comfortable working in community and multicultural settings Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently CEC certification required; certification sponsorship available upon hire Must be able to pass a Live Scan background check Candidates must be flexible to work at other organizational locations and support outreach needs as required.

$24.00 - $24.68 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
