Job Description
The Part-Time Enrollment & Engagement Specialist serves to support the college, local high schools, and prospective students in enrollment growth, college access, and student affairs initiatives. Primary goals of this position include supporting dual credit and traditional enrollment opportunities for students, engaging K-12 and community partners with opportunities for college and career readiness, and assisting students in accessing campus and community resources. It will support Enrollment Services and K-14 Initiatives by processing new student applications and managing the CRM communications journey, assisting dual credit students with the AlreadyIvy application process, and creating opportunities to engage current and prospective students with campus resources. Emphasis will be placed on ensuring prospective students receive relevant communication regarding their application status and supporting matriculation of high school students.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Support recruitment and enrollment efforts at high schools, community events, college fairs, and campus programs. Manage, effectively track, engage, and recruit prospective students using IvyConnect and marketing cloud journeys. Collaborate with high school counselors, administrators, teachers, and college personnel to strengthen student pathways and increase college participation. Support matriculation efforts for students transitioning from high school programs into certificate and degree pathways at the college. Assist and recruit prospective students in applying to Ivy Tech. Participate in recruiting efforts on and off campus including but not limited to: college fairs, high school visits, information events, and community activities within our campus service area. Such events take place both during regular business hours and occasionally after hours (evenings and weekends). Coordinate college visits and visits to local businesses/industries to expose students to various career options. Conduct targeted outreach to identified student populations, including but not limited to: first generation students and new first-time students. Execute strategic initiatives to achieve college-wide and campus-level metrics.HOURS:

$21.00-$23.00 This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties associated with this position may be assigned. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.Skills needed are:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in higher education and with middle school and high school-age youth.
