Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen. Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety. Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery in a high-energy environment like a nightclub or fine dining setting. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments securely, and balance registers at shift end. Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing reservations through OpenTable or similar platforms. Maintain a friendly demeanor while managing multiple tables, demonstrating excellent time management skills in a bustling atmosphere. Experience Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and sales tracking. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs professionally. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times. Experience in upselling techniques and sales-driven environments to maximize revenue opportunities. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in service delivery. Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and accurate cash handling are essential for smooth transactions.
