Full Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process credit card payments.
  • Assist patients with financial statements and income verification.
  • Updating clinical staff on patient financial obligations.
  • Knowledge and practice of HIPAA guidelines in healthcare.
  • Attend required staff meetings.
  • Willing and able to participate in training and in developing training resources.
  • Communicate with drug representatives regarding patient enrollment.
  • Assist in insurance reverification process.
  • Assist with other responsibilities as required.
Skills/Competencies:
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
  • Organizational skills.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • One to three years of experience in medical billing a plus.
