$45,218Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain performance standards and pursue goals, objectives, and activities that promote the mission, vision and value statement of the College.
- Contact newly admitted applicants within 24 business hours of application submission.
- Initiate communication through phone, text, email, and other approved communication methods.
- Maintain consistent follow-up until students successfully enroll or indicate they are no longer interested.
- Build positive relationships that encourage enrollment and persistence.
- Conduct an Enrollment Discovery Conversation with each student to document Educational goals, Career interests, Intended program of study, Employment status, Scheduling needs, Financial aid intentions, Military or veteran status, Previous college experience, Transfer credit opportunities, and any Potential barriers to enrollment (transportation, childcare, technology, finances, etc.
- Administer career interest assessments when students are undecided, Interpret assessment results, and Connect students with Enrollment Specialists or faculty for program exploration.
- Guide students through each enrollment milestone including Admissions requirements, Residency documentation, Placement requirements, Financial aid next steps, Orientation, Registration, Academic advising referrals, Transcript submission, and Testing appointments.
- Identify students who may need additional support and make warm handoffs to Financial Aid, Admissions, Advising, Disability Services, Veterans Services, Student Support Services, Workforce, and other departments.
- Monitor student progress through the enrollment funnel and Conduct follow-up communications to remove barriers.
- Foster, demonstrate, and actively participate in a culture of mutual respect for students, guests, and co-workers from all backgrounds, perspectives and abilities. Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and supervisors and utilize appropriate channels of communication within the college community concerning procedures and/or inquiries.
- Attend and participate in scheduled activities, which include graduation, open house/recruiting events as assigned, convocation, and required meetings. Share ideas and information, and work toward common department and College goals.
- Serve on college committees as a member or as chair. Serve on search committees.
- Participate in professional development activities that enhance effectiveness (convocation, LCTC conference, etc.).
- Represent the college in a manner that promotes a professional and positive image.
- Adhere to College and LCTC policies.
- Embrace college culture.
- Complete all required assignments prior to deadlines (Fletcher/LCTC trainings, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
