$51,504Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain performance standards and pursue goals, objectives, and activities that promote the mission, vision and value statement of the College.
- Provide presentations on enrollment, financial aid, and advising to student groups, parents, other college staff, and external groups such as high schools, community based organizations, and others requesting presentations.
- Assist prospective students with information or completion of the college admissions application.
- Assist with meeting program and course enrollment goals.
- Assist prospective or current students with information or completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Assist prospective or current students with information regarding their academic program, including advising on classes to take towards completion of their program.
- Proactively works with an assigned caseload of applicants, and/or students to move them through the student enrollment process and secure funding.
- Serve as the point of contact for all inquiries regarding admission, financial aid, advising and registration for a case load of students in a certain program/division.
- Serve as back-up recruiter for the college, attending college fairs, career days, FAFSA completion events, and other events in high schools and in the community to support the strategies developed by the Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator.
- Provides advising and financial aid counseling during recruitment events, such as orientation and open houses.
- Management of special projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Respond to all emails and voicemails within 24 hours with the highest level of customer service.
- Work with the Vice Chancellor of Enrollment and Student Experience, Executive Director of Enrollment, Assistant Director of Enrollment, and Registrar, to ensure that admissions, financial aid, and registration operations are conducted in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
- Assist with other projects as needed and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Foster, demonstrate, and actively participate in a culture of mutual respect for students, guests, and co-workers from all backgrounds, perspectives and abilities. Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and supervisors and utilize appropriate channels of communication within the college community concerning procedures and/or inquiries.
- Attend and participate in scheduled activities, which include graduation, open house/recruiting events as assigned, convocation, and required meetings. Share ideas and information, and work toward common department and College goals.
- Serve on college committees as a member or as chair. Serve on search committees.
- Participate in professional development activities that enhance effectiveness (convocation, LCTC conference, etc.).
- Represent the college in a manner that promotes a professional and positive image.
- Adhere to College and LCTC policies.
- Embrace college culture.
- Complete all required assignments prior to deadlines (Fletcher/LCTC trainings, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
