Lynk Health | Ridgeland, MS | Full-Time | In-Office (this is not a remote position) $40,000-$55,000/year | Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm | No nights, no weekends $40,000 base salary plus monthly enrollment commission About us Lynk Health is a Mississippi company based in Ridgeland. We partner with primary care clinics across the state — more than 65 locations — to help their Medicare patients manage chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease. Our nurses check in with patients every month, help them stay on top of medications and appointments, and give them someone to call 24/7 so they don't end up in the emergency room. We're a small team and we're growing. This role is in our Ridgeland office, not remote. What you'll actually do You are the first voice a patient hears. Their doctor has already told them about the program and given them information at their visit. You make the follow-up call — explain what it is, answer their questions, and help them get signed up so their nurse can get started.
A typical day:
Work through a call list of patients from our partner clinics Have real conversations with people, most of them 65 and older Explain the program clearly and answer honest questions about cost Get patients enrolled and document the conversation Work alongside our nurses and care coordinators down the hall Being straight with you about the job: these are outbound calls. You're making them, not taking them. The ones who answer often won't remember the conversation with their doctor, and some will assume you're a scam until you convince them otherwise. Plenty will tell you no. The targets, up front: 75 dials a day 5 enrollments a day We'd rather you know that on day one than find out in month two. If you've carried a quota before, that math will look familiar — it works out to roughly one enrollment for every fifteen dials, and our best people beat that. If that sounds miserable, this isn't the right fit — and that's okay. If you're the kind of person who likes the challenge of turning a cold "who is this?" into a real conversation, and you want a number to beat, you'll do well here. What we're looking for The big one: experience making outbound calls. Not answering phones — making the call. Calling people who weren't expecting to hear from you and getting somewhere in the first thirty seconds.
Beyond that:
You can think on your feet. No two calls go the same way, and a script only gets you so far You're patient with older folks — you can slow down, repeat yourself, and not sound annoyed You can take a "no" without it wrecking your afternoon, and dial the next number You show up on time, every day Basic computer skills — you can work in a web system and type notes while you talk Where we've seen people come from You do not need healthcare experience, a degree, or any license. What you need is time on an outbound phone. If you've done any of these, we want to talk to you: Dealership BDC or internet sales — calling leads and past customers to get them in the door Insurance agency — working leads, calling on quotes, chasing renewals Collections or accounts receivable — including medical billing and patient balances Appointment setting for home services — HVAC, roofing, pest control, solar Medical or dental office recall — calling patients who are overdue or who haven't scheduled recommended treatment Staffing or recruiting — cold-calling candidates all day Fundraising or alumni calling , campaign phone banks, membership or subscription sales If your phone experience is all inbound — front desk, help desk, customer service line — you can still apply, and tell us about the times you had to pick up the phone and start the conversation yourself. That's the part we care about. We'll teach you the healthcare side. We can't teach you to stay warm and quick on your feet when a stranger answers the phone annoyed. Pay and benefits $40,000 base salary , paid year-round regardless of how the month goes Monthly commission on every patient you enroll. This is not a token bonus — our strong performers add $10,000-$15,000 a year on top of base, putting total earnings in the $50,000-$55,000 range No cap. The better you get, the more you make Paid training — you'll learn the program, the system, and the call before you're on your own Paid time off Health insurance / 401(k) / other benefits Real growth path: our care coordinators and team leads came up through roles like this one Location Our office is in Ridgeland, MS just off County Line.
