Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of the credentialing process.

Experience verifying and maintaining:

Professional licenses Certifications (BLS, ACLS, specialty certifications), Education and training records, Work history and references, Malpractice insurance coverage, Sanctions and exclusion screenings, Background checks.

Job Duties :

Process initial and reappointment credentialing applications for physicians and allied health professionals. Verify licenses, certifications, education, training, work history, references, malpractice coverage, sanctions, and exclusions. Maintain accurate provider records in the Echo and online credentialing databases. Track license and certification expirations and ensure provider files remain current. Review documentation for completeness and compliance with regulatory requirements and medical staff bylaws. Prepare credentialing reports and materials for Credentials Committee, MEC, and Board meetings. Maintain confidentiality of provider information and support quality assurance and compliance activities. Schedule and support medical staff meetings, including preparing meeting minutes and maintaining related records. $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
