Job Description

Required Skills & Experience:
Shedule Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun 9a-7p.
  • Experienced Sonographer to perform high quality Adult Echo studies as per
ASE & IAC
Guidelines in a premiere cardiac center
  • Dedicated inpatient echo work experience is a must. Experience documented by institutional referral with a minimum of 200 inpatient cases in echocardiography
  • Proficiency in valvular assessment with strong spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills
  • Experience with contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies
  • Ability to work independently, recognize abnormalities and quickly respond to critical findings.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • TEE and Stress Echo experience.
  • Familiarity with 3D echo imaging.
  • TAVR, Mitral Clip, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, VAD, closure device protocols.
  • Maintaining ICAEL-accreditation echo lab standards.
  • Experience using Philips ie33 and Epiq systems.
  • Familiarity with Epic hospital information system.
The manager is only willing to review candidates that have actively scanned at a facility where they were scanning severe to critical aortic stenosis patients who will be getting a TAVr device. This is a must for the facility. As such, please have your candidate detail their specific experience scanning severe to critical aortic stenosis patients who will be getting a TAVrdeviceon their Submission Cover Sheet under the "Previous Relevant Experience" section. Candidates will automatically be rejected if they do not contain this info.
Required Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Education:
  • Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
  • Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Experience documented by institutional referral with a minimum of 200 inpatient cases in echocardiography.

$2,650.00
