We are a proud employer of the finest individuals in the business of medicine and we are recruiting an Enrollment and Credentialing Specialist. This full-time position works independently and as a team to coordinate, develop, monitor and maintain the enrollment and credentialing process under the supervision of the Enrollment Managers and Lead Enrollment Specialists. This position interacts daily with medical billing departments, medical staff offices and physician-client offices to facilitate and maintain the provider participation with insurance companies; monitors participation status; enters and maintains confidential database of information; and prepares paperwork as necessary. The Enrollment Specialist is self-directed and organized to address incoming tasks and outgoing communications to medical providers, staff, and insurance payers. They are responsible for requesting, facilitating, and completing the information needed to initiate the enrollment process and maintain the credentialing status for our clients. This position works with OneApp, CAQH, Medicare (PECOS / NPPES) and other commercial and government payer platforms; and can navigate payer websites to research provider/plan status or information for the purpose of monitoring the application process or troubleshooting provider file issues. Additional responsibilities include preparing and distributing reports; handling incoming and outgoing phone calls, acting as a liaison between the Accounts Receivable Department, our clients, and the insurance company and participating in regular virtual meetings. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and PDF files is needed, along with Microsoft Teams and Outlook. Experience enrolling providers for participation a plus!
