Admissions Specialist

Operating across three counties, we provide a compassionate bridge from life on the streets to the stability of a permanent home. Our mission is to meet individuals exactly where they are, offering a path forward through intensive support, resource navigation, and unwavering advocacy. We are looking for an Admissions Specialist.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial interviews with clients
• Call potential clients that have been referred
• Build Client Profiles using our software program
• Search and log client belongings
• Communicate with Case Managers and Care Coordinators
• Answer phones and take messages
• Explain program expectations to clients
• Schedule client rides
• Support clients through the process
• Prepare Housing Packets
• Enter client data, maintain logs, update handoff sheet
• Scan and File documents
• Coordinate with other departments
• Provide status updates and respond to email inquiries
• Manage walk-ins and appointments
• De-escalate issues and participate in shift reports

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years experience in admissions or social services (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care preferred
• This is an in person position, virtual/remote work is not an option
