Job Description

Iowa County is seeking applications for a full-time (40hrs/wk) Economic Support Specialist in our Social Services Department.
Duties may include:
collecting information for and making eligibility determinations for the various DSS financial assistance programs; providing ongoing case management services; working in a multi-functional call center setting, working with other employment and training agencies and other providers of economic support to individuals and families. Starting pay is $23.56/hr. and a generous, comprehensive benefit package is provided.
Applicant requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required, Associates Degree or Technical Degree in Business, Human Services, Social Services or closely related field is required or have successfully completed the State mandatory training for an Economic Support Specialist and demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a professional work setting.
