Job Description
Recovery House, Inc. is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant and Admissions Specialist to provide ongoing support to administrative and executive staff, in efforts to schedule client admissions for treatment. This role processes the admissions of new clients and provides clerical and office support for the organization, including being the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls. Candidates should be comfortable conducting interviews in person, on the phone, and virtually with clients, providers, and law enforcement. Individuals who apply for this position must be driven to succeed, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to assist in multiple departments. Our ideal candidates are self-motivating and familiar with both customer service and addiction recovery. Patience and active listening are key requirements, as clients may be intoxicated and/or under severe stress when they call or arrive. Recovery House is a regional leader, providing the highest quality of inpatient addiction treatment services for adults. We offer a series of structured programs that provide effective, compassionate treatment for individuals dealing with all forms of chemical dependency. These include addiction to alcohol, prescription drugs, heroin, cocaine and other drugs. Recovery House is a multi-program agency, including a 34 bed, in-patient, medical detox and treatment unit for adults, age 18 and up, as well as two lower intensity units with 12 and 16 units respectively, for the same population. Additionally, our Public Inebriate Program provides screening services to determine the best placement for individuals picked up by law enforcement for drug and alcohol related activity. Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Answering and Transferring Calls
- Client Screenings and Determine Eligibility Utilizing ASAM Criteria
- Setting up new admissions in our EMR and getting them set up to begin treatment
