Job Description

KenCrest is seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Director of our Delaware Adult Residential Services program. This position plays a key role in helping ensure the smooth operation of a large residential services division that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Experience working in IDD residential services, healthcare, human services, or a nonprofit setting is preferred. Candidates who may not have direct IDD experience but are eager and able to quickly learn the field are strongly encouraged to apply. Some Key Responsibilities Manage the Executive Director's calendar, priorities, meetings, and daily workflow. Serve as a primary point of contact between the Executive Director and internal and external stakeholders. Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes. Coordinate meetings, events, travel arrangements, and conference logistics. Track project timelines, action items, and follow-up activities to ensure deadlines are met. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Organize, compile, and distribute reports and presentations for leadership and operational teams. Support operational planning and special projects within Delaware Adult Residential Services. Maintain organized electronic files and ensure critical documents are accessible when needed. Follow up with leaders and stakeholders to ensure requests, reports, and project deliverables are completed on time.
