Job Description

We are looking for a civil engineer to support Community Facilities and Water and Wastewater projects in rural areas in Maryland and Delaware.
Duties include:
Reviews planning documents/Preliminary Engineering Reports (PER) and complete analyses and recommendations regarding the technical merit of applications for funding. Attends pre-construction conferences, monthly construction meetings, substantial completion/pre-final inspections, and warranty inspections. Develops state specific engineering policies and works with the National Office in the approval of such documents. Advises and gives training to staff on civil engineering, and other engineering-related activities of Rural Development programs (e.g., architecture). Prepares required reports and oversees establishment and maintenance of necessary engineering records, references and working materials as well as electronic project management and underwriting tools. $74,678.00 - $109,959.00 per year
