PROFESSIONAL NANNY + FAMILY ASSISTANT

Boca Raton, FL | Monday-Friday, Some Weekends | $30-$35 per hour We are looking for an experienced, energetic and deeply caring Nanny + Family Assistant for our two boys, ages 7 and 5. Our previous nanny was with us for five years before leaving to start her own family. We value these relationships and are looking for someone who wants to become a trusted, long-term part of our family, not simply move from one job to the next. The right person will have the warmth and playfulness of an older sister, along with the maturity, judgment and confidence to be the responsible adult. You should genuinely enjoy engaging with children, know how to make an ordinary afternoon fun and understand when calm structure and boundaries are needed. The core schedule is Monday-Friday from approximately 3:00-7:00 PM. However, this is not limited to a 20-hour-per-week opportunity. We have consistently created more than 10 additional hours each week for our previous nannies through family-assistant responsibilities, evenings, weekends and other family needs. Traveling with our family during school vacations is also an important part of the position. Any hours worked outside the normally scheduled hours are paid at time and a half. DUTIES Create engaging, screen-limited afternoons through outdoor play, sports, games, reading and creative activities Help the boys transition from the school day with the right balance of fun, connection and structure Ocassional pick up from school (same school) and provide transportation to activities, appointments and playdates as needed Prepare snacks and simple meals for the children Support homework, school projects and after-school routines Maintain thoughtful, age-appropriate boundaries Keep the rooms, play areas, belongings and schedules organized Handle the boys' laundry and related household organization Assist with errands, returns, activity coordination and other family logistics Communicate openly and proactively with both parents Provide occasional evening and weekend coverage Travel with the family during school vacations Adapt as the boys grow and the position develops

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Significant prior professional childcare experience is required Experience caring for multiple school-aged children is strongly preferred Warm, energetic, engaging and genuinely playful Mature, self-aware and confident without being rigid Able to earn children's trust while remaining a calm authority figure Highly dependable, punctual and responsive Proactive and willing to notice what needs to be done Strong judgment and understanding of family dynamics Valid driver's license and excellent driving record Comfortable swimming and supervising children around water CPR and first-aid certified, or willing to become certified Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally Minimal personal cell phone use while responsible for the children Strong professional references and willingness to complete a background check Seeking a long-term commitment of at least one to two years

COMPENSATION AND OPPORTUNITY
