Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coordinates and prepares agendas and supporting materials for Board of Directors meetings and various other committee meetings. Records and documents actions; prepares, reviews and distributes minutes; maintains official record of Board and various other committee minutes. Works independently using appropriate discretionary judgment and knowledge of bank policies and procedures in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive matters. Arranges appointments and corporate travel for the President and other members of senior management as requested by persons within and outside the financial institution. Tracks and documents progress of tasks assigned to various staff members. Provides the best service to our customers with innovative and creative solutions.JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma. Five - seven years previous executive/administrative assistant experience. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, constantly prioritize as circumstances change in a self-directed and timely manner, delegating projects as necessary. Ability to deal with time constraints and strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communications skills; including ability to compose correspondence, as well as proofread and make grammatical and spelling corrections. Types 40 - 50 words per minute from a rough draft Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, with an ability to learn and retain procedures for use of all additional computer applications and office equipment necessary to complete job responsibilities. Extended hours sitting and performing computer tasks may be required.
