The position operates with minimal supervision, exercises sound judgment and discretion, and serves as a central liaison between the Provost's Office, the President's Office, faculty governance bodies, and internal and external constituencies. The role requires advanced organizational skill, strategic prioritization, and the ability to manage complex academic processes in support of the University's mission and Catholic and Lasallian identity. Responsibilities Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education. Model and actively support the University Mission through service excellence, collaboration, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality. Provide primary, confidential administrative and executive support to the Provost and assigned senior academic leaders, including independent handling of sensitive matters. Manage complex calendars, schedules, meetings, agendas, and briefing materials; coordinate logistics for meetings, committees, and special events. Serve as a liaison between the Provost's Office, the President's Office, faculty governance committees, trustees, and other University units; disseminate information accurately and appropriately. Draft, edit, and coordinate correspondence, reports, presentations, and electronic documents (including spreadsheets, tables, charts, and presentations) with a high degree of accuracy. Coordinate and support faculty governance processes, including preparation of agendas and materials and logistical support for meetings. Support academic affairs processes such as promotion, tenure, sabbaticals, faculty contracts, catalogs, dual credit, accreditation, regulatory reporting, and sponsored or affiliated academic programs. Maintain, organize, archive, and ensure accessibility of confidential records and documents in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements. Provide project management and coordination for academic initiatives, events, and recurring activities (e.g., faculty recognition, celebrations of scholarship). Provide Banner ERP and data support as needed for the Provost's Office and Academic Affairs operations. Assist with policy development, operational procedures, special projects, and additional duties as assigned by the Provost. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and substantial progressive administrative experience in higher education. Five or more years of successful executive or senior-level administrative support experience, preferably in an academic or higher education environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercising discretion, judgment, and confidentiality. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including drafting and editing professional correspondence and reports. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and strong data accuracy skills. Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree. Experience with Banner ERP systems and data analysis or reporting tools. Demonstrated experience supporting senior academic leadership, faculty governance, accreditation, or board-level activities.
