Job Description

The Executive Assistant for the College of Engineering and Computing provides professional, high-level direct support to the Dean of the College and performs a broad array of administrative duties in support of the College. In the performance of duties, the Executive Assistant will work both independently and collaboratively as appropriate, and exercise initiative, judgement, discretion, and confidentiality to relieve the Vice Provost and Dean from routine duties.
Job Functions:
Provide a broad variety of administrative duties for the Vice Provost and Dean of the College of Engineering and Computing Compose and prepare correspondence, reply to emails and other inquiries on the behalf of the Vice Provost and Dean, some of which involve highly confidential and/or sensitive matters, and serve as a resource person to others within the College Prioritize, schedule, and manage the Vice Provost and Dean's calendar and meeting schedule Coordinate travel and accommodations as needed Assist the Vice Provost and Dean in preparing for meetings, as necessary Research, develop and/or prepare reports proposals, documents, and presentations for a variety of constituents on behalf of the Vice Provost and Dean, which may require synthesizing data or content from various sources into integrated, coherent formats Provide support to the Associate Deans as needed Work with the Fiscal Manager and Executive Director for Development for the College as needed Work with the departments within the College as needed Perform other duties as assigned Job responsibilities listed herein are general description of typical job duties, responsibilities, qualifications, and physical demands of the incumbents but should not be considered all-encompassing. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Anticipated Hiring Range The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $19.25 to $27.40 Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
