This is a high-trust, high-impact role for someone who thrives on anticipating needs, keeping a fast-moving founder on track, and quietly making sure nothing falls through the cracks. What you'll do Own the CEO's calendar — scheduling, prioritizing, and defending focus time, and proactively resolving conflicts before they become problems Plan meetings and events — from internal all-hands and offsites to board dinners, investor meetings, and conferences, handling logistics end-to-end (venue, catering, AV, invites, RSVPs) Manage all travel — flights, hotels, ground transportation, and detailed itineraries that account for time zones and connection buffers, including real-time rebooking when plans change Handle communications — screening calls and requests, drafting correspondence and internal announcements, and acting as a liaison between the CEO, board, and outside partners Drive follow-through — tracking action items to closure, managing recurring processes like board prep and investor updates, and anticipating what's needed before being asked Support the back office — processing expenses, coordinating contracts and vendors, and keeping records organized Exercise sound judgment — knowing what needs the CEO's attention versus what can be handled independently, with strict confidentiality on strategy, personnel, financials, and board matters What we're looking for 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant Excellent judgment and discretion — you can be trusted with sensitive, confidential information Sharp written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle competing priorities calmly A proactive, "anticipate before being asked" mindset Experience coordinating complex calendars and travel across time zones Nice to have Prior experience supporting a founder/CEO at an early-stage (Series A-C) startup Familiarity with board or investor communications
