Executive Assistant to the Founder & CEO Near Me Roofing & Contracting Texarkana, TX Full-Time | In-Person About Near Me Roofing Near Me Roofing & Contracting is a growing residential roofing company headquartered in Texarkana, Texas. Since our founding in 2021, we have built our company around serving homeowners, developing great people, and building a business that makes a positive impact on our employees, customers, and communities. As we continue to grow, our Founder & CEO is looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant who can become a trusted partner in managing priorities, communication, projects, and day-to-day execution. This is not simply an administrative position . We are looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, dependable, technologically savvy, and comfortable working directly alongside an entrepreneur in a fast-moving environment. The Role The Executive Assistant to the Founder & CEO will help protect the CEO's time, organize priorities, coordinate communication, and ensure important initiatives don't fall through the cracks. The right person doesn't just wait to be told what to do. You anticipate needs, follow up without being asked, solve problems, and take ownership of getting things completed. You should be the type of person who hears an idea or assignment and comes back saying: "It's handled. Here's what I found, here's what I completed, and here's what still needs your decision." Key Responsibilities Manage the CEO's calendar, appointments, meetings, and scheduling Help prioritize the CEO's daily and weekly commitments Monitor and organize emails, messages, and follow-ups Draft emails, documents, presentations, and internal communications Prepare meeting agendas and organize meeting materials Attend leadership meetings when appropriate and document action items Track commitments, deadlines, and delegated projects Follow up with department leaders to ensure assignments are completed Coordinate travel, events, reservations, and business-related logistics Assist with company projects and strategic initiatives Collect and organize company KPIs and leadership reports Research vendors, software, partnerships, and business opportunities Maintain organized digital files and company documents Help coordinate communication between the CEO and leadership team Use AI and technology to improve productivity and automate repetitive work Handle confidential company, financial, employee, and leadership information with discretion Identify problems and help solve them before they reach the CEO Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate has approximately 3-7 years of professional experience , preferably with experience supporting a business owner, executive, senior manager, or other high-level professional. Experience in roofing or construction is not required . We care more about your ability to organize, communicate, execute, and learn. You may be a great fit if you: Are exceptionally organized Have strong attention to detail Follow through on what you say you will do Are naturally proactive rather than reactive Communicate professionally and confidently Are comfortable holding others accountable for deadlines Can manage multiple priorities without becoming overwhelmed Learn new technology quickly Have strong written communication skills Can work independently without constant direction Have good judgment and know when something needs to be escalated Are comfortable working directly with a fast-moving entrepreneur Can maintain confidentiality Enjoy solving problems Want responsibility and opportunities for professional growth Technology Skills Candidates should be comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems. Experience with the following is helpful: Google Workspace Google Docs Google Sheets Google Calendar CRM software Project management software AI tools such as ChatGPT Microsoft Office Video conferencing and virtual meeting platforms Advanced spreadsheet or reporting experience is a plus.
Experience Preferred:
3+ years of professional administrative, executive support, project coordination, or operations experience 2+ years supporting an executive, business owner, or senior leader Experience coordinating multiple projects and deadlines Experience working in a small or growing business environment A college degree is not required . Demonstrated ability, judgment, work ethic, and results are more important to us than credentials. Compensation $50,000-$60,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications. Exceptional candidates with significant executive-level experience may be considered above this range. Career Growth We want this position to grow as the company grows. A successful person in this role could potentially progress from: Executive Assistant → Senior Executive Assistant → Chief of Staff For the right person, this can become much more than an administrative position.
