Job Description

Description The Alexa Audio is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization that is leading the way and re-imagining the future of Alexa Audio experiences. We are looking for someone to support two Directors in the Alexa Audio teams (Software/Product). The role will be based in Seattle, WA. This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling highly confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives and stakeholders. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group as well as establish mechanisms and processes where necessary. Key job responsibilities This position has an in-office requirement of at least 5 days a week.
  • Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements
  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up regularly to drive the business forward
  • Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner
  • Act as a liaison for direct reports
  • Drive key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, morale events)
  • Travel coordination and expense reports
  • Manage domestic and international travel as needed
  • Partner with others for space planning across team locations

A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior leaders and engineers inside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor. You will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action with ambiguity and show grace under pressure. About the team Alexa Audio is responsible for fulfilling customers requests for all types of audio content (Music, Radio, Podcasts, Books, Ambient sounds, and Generative content) across all Alexa enabled devices. This covers a broad set of experiences including search, browse, recommendations, playback, and devices grouping and controls. Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience with executive level calendar management Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
