Job Summary The Document Processing Specialist is responsible for efficiently and accurately processing various documents within an organization. They handle document intake, verification, and data entry tasks to ensure seamless workflow. The specialist ensures document compliance, organizes, and maintains records, and may assist in document retrieval and archiving. Their role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and timely processing of essential paperwork. Functions & Job Responsibilities Place mail in proper buckets for distribution. Collect daily mail and distribute to correct departments. Date stamp all incoming mail. Sort mail such as returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments. Prepare outgoing mail for Enrollment and Operations teams. Weigh mail to determine correct postage Fold letters, circulars, or other documents and insert into envelopes for distribution. Prepare Enrollment Batches Maintaining Misdirected Document Log Logging batches in and out of file system Organize, maintain, and scan documents. Stock copy rooms and printing devices. Ensure office is adequately stocked with mail supplies. Fax documents to clients, members, and vendors. Support mailing, scanning/copying, and filing needs of Claims department as needed Support operational departments when needed other duties as assigned
