We are looking for a detail-oriented Filing Clerk to join our legal team in Riverside, California. This person will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and securing physical and digital legal documents to support our professional legal staff. This is a full-time/part-time position assisting two attorneys directly.
Job duties include:
Documentation and Record Keeping Sort and file documents alphabetically, numerically, or by content. Customer Service Greet clients and visitors warmly as they enter the office. Answering office calls and scheduling appointments. Maintaining the office calendars with use of MyCase firm software. Administrative Support Occasionally assist with, and write legal documents for civil and probate matters including proofs of service, drafting letters, and completing court filings with courts throughout California. Manage office supplies such as printers, scanners, fax, etc. Qualifications Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience with Microsoft Word, emails, Adobe and basic computer literacy are a must. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have reliable transportation and a valid CA driver's license. Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 25 pounds, as well as perform typical office-related physical tasks as needed.
