Job Description

Header Overview Join our dynamic legal support team as a New Case Processor / ECF Filing Clerk, where you will play a vital role in managing new case intake data entry and ensuring accurate electronic filing within our system. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of legal workflow going to the next department. Your meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills will help streamline case processing, facilitate efficient document management, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy. This is a hybird position that requires Monday and Thursday of each week in the office and the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are work from home days. Duties Review incoming case information and accurately input data into the firm's case management system, ensuring completeness and correctness. Prepare, review, and electronically file legal documents using Electronic Court Filing (ECF) systems. Gather necessary documentation and clarify case details during intake processes. Monitor deadlines for filings and procedural requirements, proactively managing schedules to ensure timely submissions. Assist with general administrative tasks including data entry, document review, proofreading, to support overall correct entries on all cases. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy of data entry in each case. Experience with document review, proofreading, and handling confidential information responsibly. Strong communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration; professional phone etiquette is essential. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating initiative and attention to detail. This position will also go with another team member in the New Case department to the post-office the two in-office days. Pay:
$21.63 - $26.55 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
