Census Data Entry/Insurance Verification Clerk Job Type:

Full-time Monday - Friday 9:00am -5:00pm

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Input Daily Census Update authorizations for HMO's Insurance verification Data Entry of Lab, Xray, Pharmacy invoices Working knowledge of Medical billing and Insurance coverages Communication with Admissions dept and Billing dept regarding Payer changes Familiar with Epaces, NGS Connex, Availity High Efficiency using Excel Attention to Detail Experience in the Medical Billing field required, Nursing Home Billing preferred. Sending communications to patients/families

Filing & Scanning Additional Skills:

Computer Skills Required Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook a must Confidence talking on the phone to patients and insurance representatives Good writing skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment without getting distracted Self-starter but able to work on a team and take direction
